This course is suitable for students between the ages of 14 and 17 who may be considering a UK education and would like to experience A-Level, International Baccalaureate and University Foundation programs before committing to a program of study.
Course Details
This program runs in the summer for three weeks during which time it sets out to provide students with a broad subject syllabus covering Maths, Humanities, Science, Arts, Language and Literature. These are all uniquely tailored for international students and are delivered in a typical UK lesson style allowing students to get an in-depth understanding to UK education methods. Here students are encouraged to use their critical and analytical skills. Students will also be given the opportunity to improve their English Language skills when participating in a range of academic studies and workshops. In addition to this, students will also get an opportunity to visit some of the most prestigious UK universities including Oxford and Cambridge, they will also be able to speak to an academic counsellor individually about their future academic pathways. Tutors will also provide students with interview knowledge and techniques to prepare them for their university interviews. By the end of the course, not only will students have a great understanding of the UK education system, more importantly they will be able to discover which subjects and qualifications are the most suitable for them.
